In class 6, we had an oracy session in PSHE. 

We were learning all about who should give us medicine, and worked in groups to discuss different scenarios. We focused on the Linguistic strand, giving reasons why we had different ideas.

In computing, class 6 have been busy creating a PowerPoint all about London. 

We have created a title page, changing the font and size of our heading. 

We then added a new slide and typed some information about Buckingham Palace.

Class 9 were fantastic on the ice this week. 

They coaches played some games with them then allowed the children to have some free time.

Class 13 braved the weather this week and enjoyed their mountain biking session at urban bike park.

This week in nursery we have started learning about the space. 

We made rockets using junk modelling, we painted rockets and made them out of big and small construction. We have learnt about planets, the Moon and the Sun, we have been exploring the materials and what happens to them when placed…

Class 11 were lucky enough to get a visit from Amer’s mum. 

She talked to the children about Ramadan and Eid. 

It was very informative and everyone, including Mr Horsey, learnt a lot. 

Some children also passed on their experiences with Ramadan and Eid. 

We have been practising our word processing skills.

We typed some sentences and then changed the size of the font.

In English we have been learning about Jack and the Beanstalk.

We thought of adjectives to describe Jack and then wrote sentences about him.

In our oracy session, we worked in groups to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using stick puppets.

Class 4 have enjoyed accessing the different areas of provision.

They really enjoy playing with the farm in the small world area and developing their fine motor skills by building flowers.

We had an amazing time on World Book Day.

All of the children in year 1 worked hard to create and recite a poem about Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.

We wrote character descriptions in the form of wanted posters to describe Jack from our story.
