Year 4 loved the visit from Captain Morgan. 

They were all eager to help him get back to his shop by solving all the clues around the hall. 

They worked in groups of 4 were able to solve all the problems. 

Well done!

Class 11 have enjoyed the number hunt around school.

Between all the groups they have managed to find all the numbers housing in different areas.

Well done. 

Class 11 have enjoyed number starting number week. We kicked off by reading the story ’How Many Jelly Beans Is One Million’.

We then took a look at some sudokus and had a go at solving them for morning work throughout the week. 

Class 6 have enjoyed completing a range of different maths activities!

We have been practising writing our names and drawing our favourite animals from the story ‘Polar bear polar bear what do you hear’.

The children are making amazing progress with their marks, well done to everyone for doing their best! 

Class 14 have been studying the properties of materials and designed an experiment to investigate what happens to ice when salt is added.

Class 14 have started their amazing sea creature sculptures using plastics that could potentially end up in the oceans killing and hurting sea life.

Celebrating number day in class 13!

Class 6 are having a wonderful day!

We completed a number hunt around school then had a fabulous maths workshop with Captain Morgan!

We enjoyed reading the story 'How Many Jellybeans' and were amazed by what one million jellybeans looks like!

Class 13 have loved the workshop with Captain Morgan this morning.

They worked in teams cracking the multi-stage mathematical problems. 

Class 15 enjoyed using their maths skills to program the Bee Bots, whilst practising their knowledge of co-ordinates.
