Year 5 (Class 12) - Music - Lets Rock!
Class 12 enjoyed listening to and appraising the song, ‘Let’s Rock.’
Children focused on the lyrics to the song and discussed their meaning.
Class 12 then began rehearsing performing the song.
Well done class 12!
Year 5 (Class 12) - English - Spellings
Class 12 were introduced the their spellings for the week.
Children looked at the rules for words ending in 'ity' and then practised spelling the words in their spelling books.
Year 6 (Class 15) - R.E - David and Goliath
Class 15 enjoyed learning about David and Goliath and creating their own psalm words.
Mr Needham was very impressed with what children created and performed!
Year 6 (Class 16) - PSHE - MindMate Lesson
Children in class 16 enjoyed recognising people’s strengths - they spent time giving their classmates compliments and discussed how this made people feel.
Children were then set the task of giving people compliments outside of the classroom.
Year 2 (Class 5) - Design Technology - Home Made Puppet
Well done to Jackson in class 5 for the hard work he had put in to making a puppet at home with his dad.
He has made a fantastic string puppet of himself in a football kit using wood and strings.
We are all very impressed!
Year 6 (Class 16) - PSHE - Healthy Minds
Class 16 completed their post topic assessment identifying how a person might receive support if the person is experiencing mental health problems.
Children then compared what they had written when completing the task at the start of the topic - their pre topic assessment.
Year 2 (Class 6) - Computing - Internet Safety
Class 6 learnt about safer internet safety day this week. They learnt how to be SMART on the internet.

Class 4 enjoyed watching clips from Inside Out and talking about our emotions during Mental Health Week.
We thought about the things that make us special and then drew our own personality islands.
Year 1 (Class 4) - Art - Sculptures
Class 4 have been practising different techniques they can use to make sculptures this half term.
We then made our own seals out of clay and painted them carefully.
Year 1 (Class 3 & Class 4) - Maths - Money Workshop
Classes 3 and 4 took part in a special workshop all about money on Number Day.
