Year 6 (Class 15) - Music - Lets Rock!
Class 15 recapped over the song ‘Let’s Rock’ and the meaning of the lyrical.
Children then practised performing the song using glockenspiels and recorders. Mr Needham was very impressed with their performance.
Year 6 (Class 15) - English - Visualisation Activity
Class 15 are continuing to read Holes.
Children enjoyed discussing chapter 20 and giving their thoughts on the Warden and how she treats the children and Mr Sir.
Children also completed a visualisation activity - visualising what the inside of the warden’s cabin looked like.…
Year 5 (Class 12) - P.E - Mountain Biking Skills
Class 12 thoroughly enjoyed mountain biking. Children have developed their mountain biking skills and grown in confidence over the sessions.
Children have enjoyed the opportunity to bike on different trails.
Year 3 (Class 8) - Design Technology - Taste Tests
Class 8 enjoyed doing their taste test to try out all of the ingredients for their sandwich designs.
Year 6 (Class 15 & Class 16) - R.E - Meanings
Classes 15 and 16 enjoyed learning about the meaning of ‘Incarnation’, ‘Messiah’ and ‘Saviour.’
Children then created their own job descriptions for Jesus.
Year 6 (Class 15) - Science - Light and Reflection
Class 15 enjoyed learning about light and reflection and why we see our reflection in a mirror.
Children also had to identify the correct meaning of reflection.

Year 6 (Class 15) - English - Writing
Class 15 have been working extremely hard writing a setting description based around Holes. Children used their plans, peer opinion and thesaurus’s when writing.
Mr Needham was very impressed with their dedication and drive.

Class 12 enjoyed sharing with peers how it is important to share thoughts and feelings and who they can speak to at home and at school.
