Nursery - Learning about Growing
This half term in nursery we have been learning all about growing.
We have learnt about seeds and plants so far. The children have been very busy helping to create our Nursery garden. We have started by planting beans in small groups and now we are watching them grow.

Year 4 (Class 12) - Science - Flower Hunt
Today in class 12 we went on a flower hunt.
We were investigating what plants we could find in our local area.

Year 2 (Class 7) - Art - Dyeing Material
In art, class 7 have been dying material, the pupils then used this material and others in their weaving.
Pupils have worked hard to make sure they weave over and under, changing the pattern after each piece of material.

Year 5 (Class 14) - English - Library Story Time
A lovely afternoon in the library for class 14, where Mr Waters read us a story all about Harriet Tubman.
Harriet’s story shows us how strong she was and why she inspired so many people to stop slavery.

Reception (Class 2) - Science - Planting Beans
We planted beans in our garden.
We talked about what beans need to grow and have been looking after them , making sure they have enough water and light. We can’t wait to see what happens in the next few weeks.

Reception (Class 2) - Design Technology - Fruit Kebabs
After talking about the different types of fruit and where they grow we made our own fruit kebabs!
We made sure our hands were clean and we cut the fruit carefully thinking about how we hold the tools. We enjoyed tasting new fruit and describing it to our friend.
