This week, some of year 6 got the opportunity to visit Maths city in Leeds City Centre.
The children thoroughly enjoyed solving lots of different STEM puzzles and activities.

Class 16 are enthusiastically using Reading Plus to aid their reading fluency and their comprehension.

We enjoyed finding out about the top 10 Mega cities and used maps to find out which countries the cities are in.

Class 16 have spent time recapping over simplifying fractions and also working out equivalent fractions.

Our final remembrance art pieces are complete and look wonderful displayed as a group. The children have worked hard and used the artist Jaqueline Hurley (remembrance artist) as their inspiration.

Year 2 (Class 6) - Science - Manipulating Materials
Class 6 have been manipulating materials.
They completed an experiment to discover what could be stretched, squashed, bent and twisted.
They discovered that some materials such as plastic could be bent in the case of a whiteboard, but not bent in the case of a pen.
