Year 1 (Class 3) - Maths - Numbers up to 50
We have been learning our numbers up to 50 in class 3.
Some of the boys completed this week’s tuff tray activity.

Class 3 have been reading the book, ‘The Kindest Red’ this week.
We have been think about what it is to be kind and how we can be kind to others.
We have also written our own poem.

Year 1 (Class 3) - Design Technology - Fruit Smoothies
In DT this half term we are going to be making fruit smoothies.
Before we thought about making our own fruit smoothies, we did some product research and tasted some smoothies from the super market.
We tried to guess what fruit we could taste in it and then we gave it a rating out of ten.

Class 3 have really enjoyed Art this term and are really proud of the polar bear sculptures they have made!

Class 4 have been learning about tens and ones. We have been finding out how many tens and ones are in numbers to 50.

Class 4 learned about the sculpture Francois Pompon. We looked at the different sculptures that he created.
The children enjoyed recreating his polar bear sculpture.

Class 4 have enjoyed reading the book 'The Kindest Red', we have talked about what kindness means and the different ways we can make a kind world.
We worked together to write a class poem about kindness.

Class 4 were very excited to meet a real life explorer!
We enjoyed taking part in the workshop and learned about what it takes to be an explorer. Dan (our explorer) showed us lots of photographs from his adventures and even brought in some artefacts for us to look at, touch and draw.
