Reception loved using the iPads at school for the first time! 

They enjoyed playing on the Numbots game and using their maths skills to build and customise their own robots! 

In PE this half term, reception are developing their ball skills, trying to keep the ball under their control. 

So far we have practiced with a tennis ball, rolling it with our hands and stopping it safely. 

Here are class 1 making teen numbers!

Reception are working so hard on their phonics. 

They loved working with their phonics friend to read a book together using their phonological knowledge. 

Reception have been loving learning about fruit and vegetables. 

We have been sorting them into categories, learning new names and even using them to paint! 

Class 10 have enjoyed visiting the library and helping each other select books. 

It was lovely to see children recommending books to each other based on their interests. 

One of them even managed to find a non-fiction about Taylor Swift for another child!

Class 13 have been learning the components of our school network system to aid their understanding of how the internet works.

Well done class 17 on some excellent Andy Warholl inspired print work for out ancient greek topic.

Well done class 17 on another successful PSHE lesson in which we looked at emergency situations and how we would respond as first aiders.

Class 10 enjoyed their Egyptian workshop in Leeds City Museum. 

We saw a real mummy and learned about the mummification process.
