Year 2 (Class 5) - Commando Joe's - Class Castle
We built a whole class castle using our previous skills from commando joes sessions this half term and our knowledge of castles from our trip to Skipton castle.

Year 6 (Class 16) - R.E - Yom Kippur
Class 16 have learnt about the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur.
They made a fact file showing the key points of the festival.
The children recognised, whilst they may follow a different religion, there are similarities between themselves and what the Jewish faith believe.

Children in class 14 enjoyed the challenge of finding common denominators in order to complete subtraction sums involving fractions.

Class 16 have been practicing their running stitch in DT.
Once they were confident, they made a bookmark from 2 pieces of cloth.

Year 1 (Class 3 & Class 4) - PSHE - Police Officer Visit
Class 3 and 4 have been learning about the jobs that police officers do in PSHE.
They had a visit from the local PCSOs who told them all about their jobs and showed them their uniform.
They were then able to answer any questions that the children had about police officers.

Today we investigated qualities of different rocks in order to find the best rock to make our new school statue out of.
We tested for permeability, strength and which looked the most pleasing.

Celebration – KS2 came together to celebrate the children chosen by their teacher to receive the headteacher’s award. Some children also receive the attributes award.

Nursery - Autumn Celebrations
Diwali, Remembrance Day, learning about the charity Children in Need, Odd sock Day and Kindness day.

Year 5 (Class 12) - English - Story Time
Mr Needham took Class 12 to the library to read them a story (George’s Marvelous Medicine).
He brought with him Grandmas salad and the medicine that George made for her.
