Year 2 (Class 5) - English - Castles
Children in class 5 have used the vocabulary they have learnt in English to label their own castles.
They have worked together to build different castles and use words such as ‘moat’ ‘draw bridge’ ‘tower’ ‘portcullis’ and ‘gate house’.

Year 4 - Class 11 - P.E - Class Dancing
Unfortunately the rain has stopped Class 11 getting outside for P.E, but it hasn’t dampened their enthusiasm for exercise.

Year 4 - Class 11 - Commando Joe's
Class 11 enjoyed their first session of Commando Joes.
They are looking at Ed Stafford and how he walked the full length of the Amazon River, over 4000 miles, in 860 days.
Their first part of the mission was to get fit. We did this by a round of circuit training.

Year 3 - Class 10 - Music (Ukuleles)
Year 3 have had a fabulous time learning the ukuleles for the first time!
We learned how to hold the ukulele and copied some patterns back. We had a great time and we can’t wait for next week!

Year 6 - Class 17 - Leeds Rhinos Visitor
St Bart’s were thrilled to receive a very special visitor to school. None other than professional rugby player and Leeds Rhino Star Joe Gibbons!
We learnt all about rugby, the dedication it takes to become a sports person and all the parts of rugby Joe enjoys the most.

Year 5 - Class 13 - Collective Worship
Class 13 have loved being back in school and getting to know their new class.

This week class 13 have started their new science topic, Earth & Space.

Children in years 5 and 6 have been impressing all staff with their behaviour at lunchtimes. A variety of activities and resources have been provided.
Children have interacted extremely well with each other and they should all be very proud of themselves.
