In Science, we have been continuing our topic on plants.
We planted 'magic' beans and we can't wait to watch them grow into beanstalks.

Class 4 learned about the sculpture Francois Pompon. We looked at the different sculptures that he created.

Class 4 have enjoyed reading the book 'The Kindest Red', we have talked about what kindness means and the different ways we can make a kind world.
We worked together to write a class poem about kindness.

Class 16 have started their DT topic on bridges this week, we drew and categorised bridges, looked at 4 different bridge types then tested the different forces that bridges use (tension and compression).

Class 13 have enjoyed investigating why a young boy might have to move and work away from his family in The Gambia region of Africa.

Year 4 used dental mirrors to look at the different teeth in our mouths.
We learned their names and identified them in our mouths.

In science we have started a new topic looking at human teeth.
Today class 9 set up an experiment to test which drinks are most destructive to teeth and made predictions.
