Year 4 (Class 12) - Science - States of Matter
In science this half term we have been learning about states of matter.
This week we used iPads to research boiling and melting points of different substances.

Congratulations to the year 3 and 4 football team who won the 6 a side competition against schools in the local area.

Year 5 (Class 14) - P.E - Mountain Biking
Well done to all the children in class 14 for braving the weather at mountain biking.
The children were great even in the wet and windy conditions.

Well done to all the children for showing perseverance at ice-skating.

Congratulations to the year 5/6 athletics team for qualifying to the final of the sports hall athletics competition.
They were fantastic and showed great athleticism in numerous events.

Class 16 have been looking at different ways to crack codes.
Today we were using morse code to send and receive messages.

Year 2 (Class 7) - History - Sir William Petty Visit
Class 7 and year 2 had a visit from Sir William Petty all the way from 1666.
He came and told the children all about his friends in London and how their houses were burnt in the Great Fire of London. He used tools from the past to explore what happened and why.
The children loved taking part…

Year 2 (Class 6) - History - Sir William Petty Visit
Class 6 loved the workshop with Sir William Petty!
He came and told us all about the Great Fire of London.
We really enjoyed pretending we were a London street that set on fire and creating a bucket chain to try and put out the fire.

In class 9 we have been practicing the g chord and a minor.
Safari and Kashish played along to a sea shanty and really impressed the rest of the class.

Year 4 (Class 11) - P.E - Balances
Class 11 have enjoyed practicing balances in pairs.
They were giving the opportunity to work together to put a routine together involving a balance, travel, jump, travel and balance.
There were some very original ideas and solid balances.
