Children in class 5 really enjoyed their book day workshop. 

They were detectives who used their code breaking reading skills to track down 2 double agents. 

They were successful in their quest and worked well as a team!

Well done to all the children who decorated a potato as a character from a book. 

It was clear to see that the children had worked very hard and used their fantastic imaginations to create their characters. 

Judging was very difficult …… here are our winners.

This week class 5 learned the song 'The Music Man'. 

They thought up their own actions for the different instruments and really enjoyed performing the song.

Class 4 enjoyed a visit from some animals, including a stick insect and a snake! 

Some of us were brave enough to touch and hold some of the animals.

Class 4 have been learning about measurement in Maths.

We practised looking at and ordering objects using the vocabulary big and small, tall and short and long and short.

Class 4 have been learning all about the story of baby Moses in RE.

We then enjoyed making our own baby Moses in a basket.

Class 4 worked together in groups in Maths to measure objects around the classroom using cubes.

Class 4 have been planting beans in Science.

First we planted the beans in plastic bags until the roots started to grow. Then we re-potted our beans into pots.

Class 4 have enjoyed practising making moving pictures using levers in DT.

Class 4 are learning about moving pictures in DT this half term. We learnt about pictures that move using a slider and then made our own.
