Year 5

We are enjoying developing our biking skills!  

Mountain biking was amazing and we loved exploring different routes around Lineham Farm.  

Great effort from everyone!  

We enjoyed the low ropes challenge - working in pairs to complete the course!  

Team work was definitely the order of the day! 

We really enjoyed our evening meal - the food was delicious, including the chocolate brownie for dessert!  

After each meal, a group has to prepare for the next meal - this involves setting the tables!  

We walked to the camp area and on the way we had a taste of some interesting things.  

At camp, we loved working as a team to make our own shelters, hammocks and our own fires.  

Eating marshmallows from our own camp fires was amazing! 

Everyone arrived safely at Lineham Farm and enjoyed some delicious food!

Yesterday afternoon, group 2 had a go at orienteering.

They worked together to find clues using map work around Lineham Farm.

Yesterday, the other half of year 5 got to have a go at working together to complete the low ropes.

Everyone did a fantastic job, and even completed the challenge of getting everyone across from one board to the other using the rope…

This morning, groups green and yellow have been taking part in some archery!

Some of the year 5’s are natural archers!

A lovely evening walk to see and feed the animals, then over the fields to see the farm lands in north Leeds.

The weather was lovely.
