Our final remembrance art pieces are complete and look wonderful displayed as a group. The children have worked hard and used the artist Jaqueline Hurley (remembrance artist) as their inspiration.

Year 5 (Class 14) - Anti Racism Day
Class 14 took part in anti-racism day.
We discussed different scenarios and why they were racist actions.
The children then made posters on how to deal with racism. Check them out!

Class 12 worked hard thinking about how to ‘Step up to racism’.
We thought about how multicultural our class is and how we would want to be treated and how to treat others. We also thought about what we would do if we saw Anton be being raciest towards others.

Year 5 - Computing Club - Lego Mindstorms Update
Everyone is really enjoying the Lego Mindstorm kits.
All groups are now comfortable in coding them and have moved onto building something different.
Work is in progress on a dragster car and a puppy!

Well done to the year 5/6 Dodgeball team who won a competition against some of the local schools.

What a great experience. The children jumped straight into the canoes with no hesitation and picked it up instantly.
They were very well behaved and managed to get the furthest down the canal that day.

Year 5 - P.E - Girls Football After School Club
Girls in years 5 and 6 have been developing their football skills every Wednesday after school with Mr Needham.
Children have been working on their passing and moving in pairs and passing into space for teammates to run on to the ball.
