Year 5

Well done to a member of Class 14 for amazing work at home.  

The pupil was very proud to show how creative she was over the half-term break! 

Today in history class 12 discussed what we have found out about The Vikings from primary and secondary sources. 

They then came up with 3 main points using a consensus circle.

Year 5 took part in an exciting workshop for Number Day. 

Working in groups of six, they had to manage a restaurant by calculating the exact ingredients needed for various dishes.

Class 13 were lucky enough to receive a visit from Mr Shah, who explained how he uses numbers every day in his career as a pharmacist.

This week in science class 12 were given the challenge of separating materials the fastest! 

They used different sized sieves and tweezers to complete the mission.

Class 14 enjoyed their session in the library - choosing new books and having the opportunity to read in the library.
