Year 4 (Class 12) - History - Leeds City Museum Trip
Last week class 12 had a fantastic time at Leeds City Museum.
In the morning, the children explored the museum and took the opportunity to dress up in some of the old clothes. In the afternoon, the children took part in an Egyptian workshop and learnt how to prepare a mummy.

All year 3 and 4 girls took part in a rugby taster session delivered by a coach from Leeds Rhinos.

Year 2 (Class 6) - English - The Pirates Next Door
In english, class 6 have begun exploring a new text this week; 'The Pirates Next Door'.

In art, class 6 are learning all about Lucy Poskitt this half term. We are going to be dying material and using it to weave a seaside scene.
Before this, we needed to practice our weaving skills! We made our own 'loom' and wove different materials.
Year 6 (Class 17) - PSHE - First Aid (Choking)
Class 17 really enjoyed their first aid session.
They learnt what to do if they come across someone choking and practiced on 'Annie'.
Reception (Class 1) - Design Technology - Fruit Kebabs
This we have loved making fruit kebabs, the children (with help) chopped the fruit and put them on the kebab sticks.
It was a fun experience for some children to try fruit that they haven't tried before.
