Class 6 enjoyed our first Commando Joes session of the year, starting our new topic, 'The Queen'.

This week, year 6 have started their new topic of activism. In art, they have began to learn about the famous graffiti artist Banksy.

Class 15 enjoyed their PE lesson.
They practiced their passing and dribbling skills and finished the session of with a quick 8 aside game of football.

Year 4 (Class 11) - Science - Sound
Class 11 have started their new science topic on sound, they have enjoyed investigating pitch and how the length and thickness of an instrument changes the pitch.
They also felt how sound travels through vibrations using drums cymbals and triangles to feel the vibration.

Year 3 (Class 9) - Science - Pitch
Today we started our new science topic on sound by investigating how size of the instrument effects the pitch.
We also experimented by feeling the different vibrations made by the instruments.

This half term class 9 have been looking at the work of Shakespeare.
We have read and retold the story of Macbeth.
Today we enjoyed creating a spell using alliteration the 3 witches could have used.

Year 2 (Class 7) - Computing - Stop Motion Videos
Year 2 have been working extremely hard on their stop motion videos all about the seaside.
They have created story boards, backgrounds, props, moved their character inch by inch taking photos each time, editing and improving and adding audio to bring their videos to life.
