This week, the children were challenged to separate and collect different materials without using their hands. 

They used filtering techniques, tweezers and funnels to separate the mixtures. 

Well done to all the children who took part in the Panathlon event.

The children took part in lots of different events and excelled in the bowling event.

The children were full of energy this week, immediately asking if they could dive into Scratch so they could start building their own multi‑level game. 

They picked things up quickly, experimenting with sprites, movement, and how levels could get progressively harder.

The pupil was very proud to show how creative she was over the half-term break!

On Fridays, class 16 have coaches teach them from Leeds Beckett. 

They have had a fitness session in their pj’s today (as it’s pj’s for charity day) they completed some circuit training followed by a fun and competitive game of dodgeball.

This half term, we have been learning about plastic pollution. 

Each child has picked a sea animal, that is vulnerable and affected by plastic pollution. We have then been using reusable plastic to make these animals in our art lessons.

Children in class 15 enjoyed building the sea creatures from single use plastic.

Class 14 enjoyed their session in the library - choosing new books and having the opportunity to read in the library.

Class 14 have worked hard on their number day t shirts.

Class 15 let their imaginations run wild after being inspired by the story The House the Greedy Pig Built. Using their super maths skills in scale and measurement, the children designed and created their own dream house blueprints.
