Last week, class 16 focused on internet safety as it was internet safety week.
They researched ways to stay safe and created some posters for the younger year groups on school.

Children in class 15 have impressed Mr Needham with their flute playing.
Class 15 rehearsed hot cross buns and then performed it.

The children loved their experience at planet ice and showed excellent resilience.

The girls worked really well as a team and showed great determination.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Mindfulness Workshop
This week, year 6 got to take part in a mindfulness workshop, where we discussed different emotions and practiced some mindfulness techniques to help us feel calm and de-stress.
The children rehearsed these and talked about how they might use these techniques in their everyday lives.

Year 6 (Class 15 and Class 17) - Mindfulness Workshop
Classes 15 and 17 took part in a mindfulness workshop.
We focused on feelings and how we can focus our bodies to help with our emotions.

Year 6 (Class 15) - Internal Monologues
Class 15 invited Mr Needham to listen to their ‘internal monologues’ as a character based on the book they are reading, Skellig.
Mr Needham was very impressed with their writing and with the performances of the monologues.

Year 6 (Class 17) - Cricket in the Classroom
Class 17 had a wonderful day at Headingley Stadium for Cricket in the classroom.
At the start of the visit, children took part in a practical session, practising cricket skills: batting, bowling and fielding.
Children finished with a game of Kwik Cricket! Mrs Martin impressed the children…
