Nursery - Learning about Autumn
During the last two weeks we have learnt all about Autumn.

Year 6 (Class 15) - History - Lotherton House Trip
Class 15 went back in time on their school trip this week! They were met from their transport by a billeting officer and assigned to board at Lotherton House.
The children were in role as WWII evacuees all morning and were fascinated by the tour of the house. Then they took part in morse code…

Year 3 (Class 8) - Commando Joe's - Sinking Ship!
Today we had to get off our ship frozen into the ice before it sank!
We had to avoid the icy water and the killer whales using the stepping stones. We needed to get everyone in the team off safely but we did not have enough steppingstones for everyone!

Year 2 (Class 6) - Science - Bouncy Balls
Class 6 created an experiment to discover how bouncy balls were.
They worked together to drop the balls from a certain height, measuring its bounce against a metre stick. They then recorded their results and ranked the balls from bounciest to least bounciest.

Year 6 - Computing Club - Lego Mindstorms Laptop Programs
This week in computing club most groups began to program their robots using a laptop.
The Lego NXT software allows you to adjust your robots speed, direction and even talk.
Everyone is learning how to program really quickly, well done!
